Afsana Get the app

Delete your account

This page applies to the Afsana Android app operated by Faiz Iqbal.

Deleting an Afsana account permanently removes its live cloud data. It does not delete your Google account, and books stored locally on your phone remain available until you remove them.

Delete immediately inside Afsana

  1. Open Afsana and go to Settings.
  2. In Account, make sure you are signed into the account you want to remove.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Review the warning and select Delete Permanently.

This is the fastest method because the signed-in session verifies ownership automatically.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the same email address used for the Afsana account. Use the subject “Afsana account deletion request.” We may reply with a limited verification step before deletion. Never send a password, one-time code, Google ID token, EPUB file, or private reading content.

Request deletion by email

Verified requests will be completed within 30 days.

What is deleted

What may remain temporarily

Rotating, access-restricted disaster-recovery backups may retain copies for up to 14 days before automatic expiry. Limited security logs may remain for fraud prevention, reliability, and legal compliance; they are not used to recreate a deleted account. Anonymous on-device data is outside the cloud account and must be removed from the device separately.
