Using Afsana
You may use Afsana for personal reading and other lawful purposes. You are responsible for the EPUB files and text you import, upload, or submit to an online feature, and must have the right to use that content. Do not use Afsana to violate copyright, privacy, security, or other applicable laws.
Accounts and backup
An account is optional. If you create one, keep access to your Google account and device secure. Cloud backup is off by default and begins only after you enable it. You can disable backup, export account data, or delete the Afsana cloud account from the app. The external deletion process is available on the account deletion page.
AI and external services
AI output, dictionary results, public-domain catalog metadata, and generated artwork may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review output before relying on it. Online features depend on third-party and infrastructure services and may be limited, changed, interrupted, or discontinued.
Availability and acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, probe or disrupt the service, access another person's account or files, automate abusive traffic, distribute malware, or interfere with service operation. Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, legal compliance, or service availability.
Your device and data
Keep independent copies of important EPUBs and reading data. Although Afsana uses safeguards and scheduled recovery backups, no device, network, or hosted service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or loss-free. Data handling, retention, and deletion are described in the privacy policy.
Disclaimer and responsibility
Afsana is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. It is a reading tool, not professional, legal, medical, financial, or educational advice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated in the app. Continued use after an effective update means the updated terms apply.
